AmCham coordinates the activities of 23 industry committees that address advocacy issues and provide opportunities for professional and business development.
Where a position starts
The chamber publishes the number of its committees and what they produce, and keeps the list of them on a page of its own. The number and the description here are theirs; no committee has been named, because naming twenty-three of them would mean inventing the list.

Taking it to Washington
The position papers are also valuable advocacy tools for AmCham’s annual Doorknock trip to Washington. On that trip each summer, an AmCham delegation meets with senior officials in the U.S. Administration and on Capitol Hill to discuss international business concerns about U.S.-Taiwan trade and commerce. All members are invited and encouraged to participate in this crucial dialogue.
